Color is subjective in both personal and cultural terms.
In Japanese, Thai, Korean, and Lakota languages, the word for blue is also used to describe what English-speaking people might refer to as green. In Welsh, the word for blue came from the word for green.
Turquoise is considered a cyan color, which is between green and blue on the visible spectrum of light.
From the test, the researcher reports that many responses cluster around hue 175, and the nominal boundary between blue and green is 180.
