Science is Fun Fridays!

 

I recently became aware of this local project through UNR's Reynolds School of Journalism.

Each "article" is a short animation that explains a certain topic.

In last week's thread, being colorblind was mentioned.

And since that new Jurassic Park movie is coming out.

Another good reason to read a book!

There are some older entries that were more traditional, such as this one discussing a restoration project to connect Middle Yuba River to its floodplain, recreating English Meadow into the "sponge" it's meant to be.
