I just absolutely love the fact that it's Bad Company, on the album Bad Company, by Bad Company.


On this day in 1974, the debut album reached #1 in the US.

The band is a supergroup, with members from Free, Mott the Hoople, and King Crimson.


Their next album was pretty good too.



I feel less strongly about the third album, but I always sing along to this.

Drinksgiving!

 A newer tradition developed from the horrors of certain families, or maybe just the stress of all the preparation, but Hubby and I are ditching all that this year - we're going camping. Perhaps some brandy to help keep us warm.... And I came across a yummy martini recipe: you'll need a pumpkin liquor (the particular one was a whiskey), vanilla vodka, and Irish cream.  Shake 'em up and then add a pinch of cinnamon and/or nutmeg. Be safe, be fed, be thankful. All my love.
