Hump Day Open Thread
We're going birthday camping so I will be off Thursday and Friday.
I recently finished the above, The Murder of Roger Ackroyd.
Being my first time reading Christie, I didn't know her way of writing or hinting, and I was completely surprised by the culprit. I liked it, so I'll be looking for more.
On this day in 1920, the 19th Amendment is ratified thanks to one vote. A 24 year old representative from Tennessee changed his vote after receiving a letter from his mother.
"Don't forget to be a good boy."
Congress had previously voted down the amendment six times.
I'll be around today, but have a great rest of the week and weekend!! :-)
