Animal Life - Gray Seals

 

It's been about a month since we first checked in on the gray seals and their pups.

Moms will nurse for three weeks before leaving the site.  The pups stick around to fast and molt their white fur coat for another week or so.

A female becomes sexually mature around 4-6 years of age, while a male is 6-10 years.
