Art Class - Guitars

Guitar with Inlays

I knew I wanted to do an art post today, so I told Google I was feeling artistic, and it brought me to this painting by Juan Gris, 1925.  "An example of the mastery Gris attains in Synthetic Cubism."  It now resides in the Museo Reina Sophia in Madrid, Spain.

He did quite a few pieces with a guitar.

My favorite art piece with a guitar is Pablo Picasso's The Old Guitarist.

I picked this postcard up on campus years ago, it was an exhibition advertisement, and it clearly used Picasso for inspiration.

Currently on my wall, yes.
