Animal Life - Gray Seals

 

The Pupping Cam on Seal Island went live two days ago - from December to January, seals come ashore to give birth and feed their pups.

This island is a National Wildlife Refuge off the coast of Maine.

We'll see plenty of birds, including bald eagles, hanging around as they enjoy the placenta.

I kinda got a screenshot here...

We'll definitely come back to watch as these pups shed their fur and enter the sea.
