RenoVous

  On this day in 1998, my favorite game was released on Nintendo 64. A love my sister and I share, along with Triforce tattoos. And we were just talking about playing it again, as she has it on Switch. It's just a game that makes my heart so happy, from the relationships within to the kinships in the real world - when someone comments on my wallet (which also has a Triforce) or recognizing someone's phone notification being Saria's Song so we nod.  And yeah, the music is pretty great. I've played a number of the Zelda games, but none of them have stuck with me like this one. I've even got my husband using a Navi reference because he's heard me use it for so long. And here's a real ocarina.

  I sure meant to post this last week, but here we are! I purchased the above for my Kindle, and I am stoked.  Two of my favorite things! "Power.  Courage.  Wisdom.  These three tenets comprise the foundation of Hyrule's lore and history, but they resonate just as strongly in our own society." Between this and finishing last month's Doomed, I read a few more Fitzgerald short stories from Tales of the Jazz Age.   "The Jelly Bean" and "The Camel's Back," then I started "May Day."   What have you been reading??

  I have three no fuss, simple tattoos.   The above Triforce, from Zelda, that I share with my sisters.  I am wisdom. I have music notes from a song my dad wrote for me. And I have candy hearts with mine and Hubby's initials, $14 on Valentine's Day. But I love watching Ink Master and seeing real artistry in amazing tattoos. DJ Tambe And we should also mention that many people all over the world have had tribal tattoos associated with their status, lineage, and connection with the divine.  They are also powerful symbols of the community itself; from Polynesian to Aztec, African to Native American, each tribe has their own traditions. This man is from the ancient Konyak tribe of India.
