World Teachers' Day

 


UNESCO (The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization) proclaimed the first World Teachers' Day on October 5, 1994.

The aim is to bring awareness to the importance of this role, to appreciate that they dedicate their lives, often for low salary, to the responsibility of educating future generations.

In honor of my sister, my best friend, and of course, our dear Taha!

I appreciate all of my teachers, but there are three in particular that I will never forget because they inspired and supported me in ways that are still an aspect of my life today.
