Act III Summary and Analysis Scene 1 starts with Viola approaching Feste.  He tells her he does not like her, and goes on to explain he is not Olivia's fool, since she will not have one until she is married, but he is "her corrupter of words."  Viola offers to pay him for his wordplay for she does admire his wit. She is then met by Toby and Andrew and she asks for admittance into Olivia's, but then she and Maria come out.  Viola again tries to woo her for Orsino, which leads Olivia to apologize for her act with the ring previously.  She admits to her affection for Cesario, and asks what he thinks of her.  But Viola only inquires for her master, and bids adieu. "Never more will I my master's tears to you deplore." "Yet come again: for thou perhaps mayst move That heart, which nor abhors, to like his love." Scene 2 turns to Toby, Andrew, and Fabian.  Andrew has noticed Olivia's affection for the youth, "more favours to the count's s...

Today's Google Doodle honors Johannes Gutenberg, on this 21st anniversary of the Gutenberg Museum in Mainz, Germany - Johannes' hometown. He is famed for inventing the moveable type printing press in 1439.  This process replaced handwritten manuscripts and wooden block printing with a moveable metal type, adjustable molds, and oil-based inks. He printed a book on Latin grammar in 1451, but his biggest hit would be the Bible in 1455. By the 16th century, his press was used in more than 200 cities around Europe, with more than 200 million books produced.   Project Gutenberg  is named in his honor, the oldest digitized library. The museum has two of the original Gutenberg Bibles.  There is a reconstruction of his workshop, with demonstrations of how printing was done.  The museum also includes histories of paper and writing, newspapers and magazines, bookplates, graphic art and posters. We then meet Toby Belch, Olivia's drunk uncle.  He has tried to set her up with his friend, Andrew Aguecheek, but he's a bit of a fool, and Maria does not approve. Viola, as Cesario, is now with the Duke and says she will get admittance from Olivia.  But as she goes, "Whoe'er I woo, myself would be his wife." World Health Day

World Health Day marks the anniversary of the founding of the World Health Organization in 1948. This year's theme is building a fairer, healthier world. "As COVID-19 has highlighted, some people are able to live healthier lives and have better access to health services than others." "We urge leaders to monitor health inequities, and to ensure that all people are able to access quality health services when and where they need them." The WHO is an agency of the United Nations, focusing on the health of the world at large. Countries that have signed the WHO Constitution agree: Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. The enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of health is one of the fundamental rights of every human being without distinction of race, religion, political belief, economic or social condition. The health of all peoples is fundamental to the attainment of peace and ...
