Science is Fun Fridays!
Scientists Sebastien Enault and Camille Auclair like to piece skeletons together, and they do an awesome job.
"As trained scientists with a concern for precision and a keen eye for aesthetics, we focus on anatomical accuracy and take into consideration animal behavior and movement to produce visually stunning displays of vertebrate anatomy."
Their most recent work is the cartilaginous skeleton of the shortfin mako shark.
The duo claim preparation of these fishes is their specialty, and they have developed their own technique for preservation of these delicate structures.
An undulate ray.
Northern wobbegong shark.
Blue shark.
And a bony vertebrate:
Mahi-Mahi
